A complete tour that will allow us to know the most iconic places of this city
and enjoy its main tourist attractions
We will start the tour visiting the Downtown area and the financial district, where the giant steel and glass skyscrapers predominate. From there we will go to the South Beach area, to see the city’s contrasts of style. In this first stage we will pass by Star Island: an artificial islet where many celebrities had their residential mansions: Enrique Iglesias, Sylvester Stallone, Ricky Martin, Madonna or the former couple formed by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
We will continue the tour through the Art Decó district. Our guide will share the history of one of the first neighborhoods of the 20th century, recognized by the National Register of Historic Places. Its buildings -constructed mostly from the 1930s onwards- present a peculiar architecture that tried to "cheer up the community" in the difficult times that followed the stock market crash of 1929.
Our first stop will be at the Havana 1957 Restaurant, on the iconic Ocean Drive, where we will enjoy a corner of Cuba in Miami.
We will continue our journey leaving the island of South Beach via the Venetian Causeway, arriving again at mainland. We will get to the Wynnwood area and the Design District, where we will visit the most famous graffiti walls. This area is considered the mecca of art in South Florida. Artists from all over the world contribute to this street art.
Finally, we will move to the Coconut Grove area to visit the Vizcaya Gardens; a mansion built at the beginning of the century, combining Italian baroque elements with local architecture and flora.
